5 Minutes of Fabulous: What is the best way to end your day?
Good Morning Darling,
Are you a morning person or a night owl?
I’m a total morning person. I have a fabulous morning routine that includes a combination (based on my mood, of course) of spraying homemade rose water on my face, doing yoga, practicing meditation, journaling, snuggling with my boyfriend, and sipping my matcha. I live out some of my most fabulous moments in the a.m. because that’s when I feel most alive.
The p.m. is a whole other story. When it’s the nighttime I’m a straight-up hot, tranny mess. I find it really hard to ground myself in the evening time and I often find that everything feels a bit out of control because I get really sleepy.
Can you relate?
I’ve talked quite a bit about how I’m an introvert with a very extroverted job. I need lots of alone time, quiet, and space to just be in order for me to feel the magic of life. Bookending our days with reflective, alone time in the morning and the nighttime is great way for us create more magic in our lives.
This week, I experimented with a few different practices to help me end my day in the most fabulous way possible. The results were extremely positive and I also got a better night’s sleep (which is always the best, am I right?)
Check out some of favorite new nighttime practices below:
Gratitude Practice: What was the best part of the day? I try to notice at least 3 moments from the day that I feel gratitude for.
Anoint my bod with luscious body oil. Here is my favorite oil here
Cuddle up in bed with a good book – currently reading this: The Clarity Cleanse
