5 Minutes of Fabulous: Beauty & Simplicity, Ma Cherie

Happy Friday my beauty! As you may know, I am all about living that F A B U L O U S life! And what living a fabulous life means to me is proactively predicting my needs so that I can show up in my life with more grace and ease. I also like to call this energy management and when you can love yourself enough to set your energy and your schedule up for success, you can truly experience the magic that life has to offer. I am just getting back from my solo adventure in Paris and as to be expected, I am tired and processing the lessons I learned from my trip. I predicted that I would need to keep this week's 5 Minutes of Fabulous simple, yet beautiful. With that being said, I want to share some o

5 Minutes of Fabulous: Why I am Going to the City of Love Solo

Bonjour from Paris! Can you remember a time when you wanted something so badly that you could just cry? Maybe for you it was getting into that perfect school or graduate program. Or maybe it was that internship, job, or promotion. Or becoming a home owner, getting pregnant, or finding that dream love that you’ve always imagined. For the last couple of years that something for me has been Paris. I’d see images of the city and start to weep. I’d re-watch "Funny Face" with Audrey Hepburn or the Woody Allen film, "Midnight in Paris" and I would sob. I play French music when I eat alone, I follow French bloggers, illustrators, and chefs.Over the years, my love and lust for the city has continued

5 Minutes of Fabulous: The True Hollywood Story of a Pleasure Icon: Miss. Piggy

Happy Friday you sweet muffin, you! You look radiant today, you do! Back at the beginning of the year, I wrote a post on some lessons I had learned from Miss. Piggy. I even showed up to the show with my brightest pink skirt on, cheetah print shoes, and a glorious picnic basket filled with charcuterie, wine, and a big French baguette to celebrate the spirit of the sassiest piggy in show business. See pic below. In the spirit of celebr

5 Minutes of Fabulous: Trust. Yo. Self.

Good Morning Gorgeous, Happy Friday! Hope this week has treated you well and that you are geared up for a wonderful weekend! I’ve recently been thinking a lot about trust. I now work on a large collaborative team at my new job where it’s necessary to practice openness and trust with my team members so that we can call succeed together. This got me thinking about how I’ve been taught my entire life to be willing and open to trust others. Have you ever done that team building exercise where you’re supposed to relinquish all control and fall backwards trusting that the person behind you will catch you? I swear I’ve been asked to do that exercise since I was in kindergarten! I’ve read books and

5 Minutes of Fabulous: How you doin?

Hey Sweet Muffin! How you doin? How fabulous is it that we have a long weekend? It’s the perfect time to schedule at least one fun thing for yourself- so what are you going to do? I plan on going on a morning hike and then I'm going to lie out by the pool with a new book. Ahhhh- I’m already in relaxation mode! I’ve been thinking a lot about habits recently- the habits that I label as “good” or “bad”. This got me thinking about how people often say, “adults will stay the same regardless of how hard they try to change”. Or that “you can’t teach an old dog new tricks.” I feel strongly that if you’re willing to consider trying things in a new way, or if you’re willing to consider thinking about
